On behalf of the Pro Bono Week Working Group and Committees, it is our privilege to welcome you to this year’s Pro Bono Week program in Hong Kong.

Pro Bono Week is about celebrating and inspiring everyone in the legal profession, including future lawyers, to take an active role in enhancing access to justice, the rule of law and the administration of justice in our city.

This year’s theme is “Pro Bono in Action: Turning Law into Justice” through which we wish to emphasise the importance of engagement, participation and taking collective action to confront the harsh realities of systemic inequity and the staggering justice gap, especially in these uncertain times. It also invites us to collaborate, innovate, and rekindle our resolve to make a difference however modest that change may be.

Over the course of the week, you’ll get to share strategies to expand access, learn from trailblazers in our field, and reignite the passion that brought us to this profession.
